Coming the end of 2021 we will be moving to a NEW State-Of-The-Art facility in Glendale! Our Glendale office will be relocated to a new facility just north of the Bayshore Mall by the end of the year, complimenting our state-of-the-art facility in Waukesha.
MILWAUKEE, WI – May 5, 2021 – Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa, a premier cosmetic surgery practice, has announced plans to relocate its Glendale office to a site just north of Bayshore Mall by the end of this year. The new facility will be a state-of-the-art, fully accredited surgical facility featuring two operating rooms, comprehensive clinical suites and a full-service medspa offering patients the latest technology and unparalleled cosmetic treatment choices. The facility is being designed as an exceptional environment providing incomparable services, privacy and elegance. The new Glendale office will complement Illume’s state-of-the-art facility in Waukesha.
“We have seen a steady increase in patients, and the new site will allow us to expand our services and offer more options and treatment space than our current smaller Glendale facility allows, without having to abandon the community we have served now for two decades,” said Dr. Mark Blake, a co-founding partner of Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa.
Illume purchased the former Pier One building on Port Washington Road in February, and will completely renovate that existing 17,000-square-foot structure both inside and out. Illume plans to occupy over 10,000 square feet, with four other businesses taking up the remaining space.
“We are excited that this building gives us the space to construct the premier cosmetic surgery and medspa clinic in the state,” said Dr. Thomas Korkos, a co-founding partner of Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa. “Our new Glendale facility is being designed to provide our patients a truly enhanced experience. Our Illume brand signifies the area’s greatest selection of board-certified plastic surgeons on site, supervising care through the most extensive offering of state-of-the-art technology, operating rooms and patient treatment options to enable our patients to live life beautifully,” Dr. Korkos added.
The new facility will have two accredited operating rooms served by anesthesiologists providing the choice of general anesthesia, IV sedation and local anesthesia for procedures performed there, in a nonhospital environment that affords patients’ personalized privacy and comfort.

Also setting Illume apart from other cosmetic surgery practices, its new facility will feature a spacious medspa supervised by six board-certified plastic surgeons on-site to ensure the safest and most advanced care, including the most comprehensive offering of injectable, laser and noninvasive cosmetic surgery procedures in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa was formed in 2019 through a merging of the two premier cosmetic surgery practices in Milwaukee — Plastic Surgery Associates and The Clinic of Cosmetic Surgery — in order to provide the most excellent, comprehensive cosmetic care to all of Southeastern Wisconsin.
“Illume is recognized for a uniquely personal level of cosmetic service that is truly unmatched in the Milwaukee area,” said Dr. Christopher Hussussian, another co-founding partner. “We pride ourselves on combining a professional consultation with realistic expectations of the changes that our patients would like to make to their appearances. Some of our most popular plastic surgery procedures performed in our two offices include breast surgery, facelifts, facial rejuvenation, body contouring and hair restoration surgery,” Dr. Hussussian explained.
Illume is the only cosmetic surgery practice serving Milwaukee which offers patients a choice of six board-certified plastic surgeons, the latest in nonsurgical and surgical treatments, hospital and outpatient accredited surgical facilities, and a range of anesthesia. Illume’s patients enjoy an unparalleled selection of providers, services and technology.
Supporting the growth of the company, when the new facility is completed Illume will have three fully accredited operating rooms; a Medicare-approved facility in Waukesha and two AAAHC accredited operating rooms in Glendale.
