Meeting Dr. Hussussian
Dr. Christopher J. Hussussian, was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founding partner of Illume Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa. He is proud to practice in a state-of-the-art facility offering the highest levels of patient safety and privacy, the latest innovative techniques, and individualized care.
He has been in practice since 2000. After graduating from Yale Medical School, he pursued training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. His expertise was further enriched through specialized training in microsurgical cancer reconstruction at MD Anderson in Houston.
Dr. Hussussian’s expertise allows him to give patients a wide range of options for both his reconstructive and cosmetic patients while providing a realistic perspective on the expected outcomes.

Outside of the Office
When Dr. Hussussian is not busy at one of the Illume locations, he might be enjoying himself a nice bottle of wine. Dr. Hussussian started enjoying wine almost 10 years ago and calls himself a “late bloomer” within the wine industry. He got into wine by taking a trip to Napa, California that he won at a charity auction.
Following the trip, he started to appreciate nicer wines more and ended up purchasing his father’s wine collection. This then led to the introduction of French wines and he has been able to enjoy French wines more with trips to Burgundy and Bourdeaux, and possibly a trip to Champagne!
Dr. Hussussian and the Beginning of Illume
When he first started, Dr. Hussussian desired to build a practice that covered all cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures. With Illume, he has done that. Illume has grown over the past 5 years, offering more than he originally imagined.
