Potenza delivers focused radiofrequency (RF) technology to heat the treatment area. Using RF technology will trigger your body’s natural response to create an increased level of collagen and elastin production, resulting in an enhanced skin revitalization treatment versus microneedling alone.

 The Potenza RF Microneedling requires the application of a topical numbing cream to ensure comfort to the patient. The topical numbing takes about 30 minutes to activate.

The treatment itself takes about 20 minutes and involves the needles penetrating the skin and releasing radio frequency energy from the needle tips.

Following the treatment your face will feel warm, similar to a sunburn. This should subside within a day.  It is recommended that you use a gentle cleanser and apply recovery cream to soothe the skin and use SPF 50 to 80 when you go out. Our aestheticians will provide you with specific post-care instructions.

Depending on the type of Potenza treatment, patients may see results in 12 hours. The elastin and collagen building takes place between 4-6 weeks after treatment, with optimal results usually seen at 12 weeks after the last treatment. 

 Three to four treatments each, six weeks apart is recommended for optimal results.

Potential side effects can include redness, mild swelling, itching, pinpoint bleeding, transient discoloration, and slight blushing.
