Treatment Expectations
After your first Botox treatment, you might notice some swelling, redness, or mild bruising within the injection areas – these usually fade within a few hours, occassiionally a couple of days.
Results usually start to appear within 3-5 days, with full effect around two weeks, and typically last about 3-4 months.
Each person has a different facial anatomy and may require various amounts of Botox injections to adequately address their needs. Fortunately Botox is incredibly versatile and works in a variety of conditions.

About Consultations at Illume
A personal consultation is the first step for anyone considering a surgical procedure, medspa treatment, or weight loss program. During this meeting, one of our board-certified plastic surgeons or licensed providers will recommend the best treatment options and answer any questions you may have.
There is no fee for medspa consultations, including Botox, filler, and skincare. There is also no fee for any weight loss consultations.
We require a $100 deposit for all out-of-pocket surgical consultations with all our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. This $100 is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with at least a 24-hour notice. Your $100 deposit can be applied towards the cost of your surgical procedure provided that surgery is scheduled within 6 months from the time of the consultation. Surgery beyond 6 months from the time of the initial consultation or for procedures not discussed in the original consultation would require another consultation and a $100 deposit.
All our plastic surgeons offer in-person consultations. Virtual consultations are available upon request.
**The costs for insurance-based services, including consultations and surgery, can vary based on contractual terms with health care insurance providers. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier to get those exact costs.
