It’s summertime in Milwaukee and if you are from the area, you know what that means! That’s right, Summerfest 2022 is right around the corner and will be taking place from June 23 to July 9. Before we talk about the details of Summerfest such as who is playing, and what to expect, we wanted to have some fun at our office and see who everyone was most excited for!
Illume Staff Picks for Favorite Summerfest Bands
With Summerfest 2022 coming up, we thought it would be fun to get our doctors, aestheticians, and staff picks for who they are most excited to see at the upcoming event.
- Dr. Hussussian: Boyz II Men – Boyz II Men will be playing the ULINE Warehouse Stage on July 7 at 9:30 p.m.
- Sofia (Patient Care Coordinator): Steve Aoki – Sofia wants to be there opening day when Steve Aoki plays on the Miller Lite Oasis Stage at 10:15 p.m.
- Sheryl (Patient Care Coordinator), and Cindy (Injector): Thomas Rhett – Sheryl and Cindy will be able see Thomas Rhett close out Summerfest 2022 when he plays at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on July 9.
- Gabrielle (Aesthetician) and Meagan (Marketing Director): The Marshall Tucker Band – Gabrielle and Meagan are also looking to close out Summerfest 2022 by seeing The Marshall Tucker Band on July 9, a little earlier in the day at 5:30 p.m. at the ULINE Warehouse Stage.

Summerfest 2022 is presented by American Family Insurance and has over 12 stages of live music you can listen to. There are plenty more bands and singers that will be playing and you can view the full lineup and dates of each performer on Summerfest’s website.
Along with the music performances, there are other experiences you can take part in such as different sports activities, awesome picture-perfect backgrounds, and tons of food and drink options. There will also be a fireworks show on the grounds of opening night, June 23 at 9:30 p.m. It’s a great way to start your weekend and a family friendly event for everyone.
