This winter, Illume will be partnering with the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to help one local child achieve their dream. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin was established in 1984 and was able to grant 327 wishes in their fiscal year of 2022. With the help of local businesses and communities, they are on track to grant their 8,000th wish in the Spring of 2023.
Illume will be working to help Trinity, a 6-year-old from Milwaukee living with a blood disease, with her Make-A-Wish dream. Trinity, who loves swimming, playing with her friends, roller skating, and reading, is hoping to travel to Myrtle Beach, SC where she can enjoy all her favorite activities. With the help of Illume, Make-A-Wish, the community, and you, we hope to grant this with for Trinity and her family.
How We Can Help
To help aid in Illume and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Illume will be providing 25% of each sale of the Limited Edition Illume RX Intensive Hand Repair Cream to the cause. As one of the most popular products we offer, we are hopeful that the sales will help support Trinity’s dream. This fundraiser will begin on November 29th and run to January 2nd.
With this promotion taking place around the holidays, it is the perfect time to not only stock up on your own supply but provide it as a gift or stocking stuffer for friends and family. Our non-greasy hand moisturizer helps rejuvenate, sooth, and condition rough hands. Some of the main benefits of our hand repair cream include:
- Protect skin moisture
- Relieve itchiness
- Soothe dry and chapped hands
Keep your hands from drying out this winter and help support a great cause for Trinity and her family. Remember, 25% of each hand moisturizing cream will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help get Trinity to Myrtle Beach, SC.
About Make-A-Wish Wisconsin
Founded in 1984m Make-A-Wish Wisconsin has been helping children throughout our state achieve their dreams with the help of fundraising and partnerships like the one with Illume Cosmetic Surgery. Make-A-Wish works with kids ages 2 ½ – 18 diagnosed with progressive, degenerative, or malignant critical illnesses that is placing the child’s life in jeopardy. These children then have a chance to provide a wish, which Make-A-Wish then helps grant. These wishes range from things like trips, experiences, or even tangible items like new gaming systems.
The wishes granted not only provide these children with the experience of having their wish granted, but it can help them feel stronger, more energetic, and more willing and able to fight their critical illnesses. Combining medicine and positive experiences for children can help them feel better, both emotionally and physically.
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a critical illness and is between the ages mentioned above, you can reach out to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to learn more. If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer your time or provide fundraising money, you can learn more on the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin website.
