6-9 Months Before Your Wedding
The first step in getting your wedding skincare treatment is to schedule a consultation with Illume. If you are able to get an appointment scheduled out in advance, it will help us formulate a personalized skincare plan that will get you on the right track. Once you schedule your complimentary bridal consultation, we will begin creating goals for you and get an understanding of what you are looking for.
The plan can consist of things from medspa treatments, to injections and filler, and even a weight loss plan. Like we mentioned above, getting on a schedule and following it will be extremely important and is the first step in the journey. 2 Months Before Your Wedding
Now that you have been working on a consistent skincare routine, its time to jump into the medspa treatments we offer here at Illume. While there are other treatments we offer, we think the two most important at this stage are Botox and Lip Fillers.
Botox is a great way to smooth out lines and wrinkles in your face, and will last about 3-4 months. This is perfect timing for your wedding, as well as the honeymoon you plan on taking after! What to Avoid Before Your Wedding Day
Just like there are things you should do before your big day, there are some procedures that you may want to stay clear of or postpone until after your big day. We suggest avoiding surgical procedures, such as tummy tucks, breast augmentation, or facial rejuvenation surgeries. These procedures take time to heal and could have an effect on how you feel. If you do plan on having these done before your wedding, it is extremely important to talk with your plastic surgeon about what is possible and what should wait. We want you to feel your best on your wedding day, so we would never recommend something we don’t believe could be healed by your big day.
