The Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa & The Spa at Plastic Surgery Associates Are Merging
When two businesses merge, its big news. When those two businesses are the largest and longest-serving cosmetic plastic surgery groups in Milwaukee, it changes the local industry. That’s what’s happening this summer as Drs. Thomas Korkos and Christopher Hussussian of the Spa at Plastic Surgery Associates with Dr. Mark Blake of The Illume Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa.
The newly formed group will be the largest provider of cosmetic surgery and medicine in the Milwaukee area, offering the opportunity to see a Plastic Surgeon at four office locations in Glendale, Franklin, Brookfield and Waukesha. “With this merger, we are able to combine resources and provide patients the most comprehensive care from board certified plastic surgeons. We’re bringing the most advanced technology and most experienced providers into one premier cosmetic practice,” says Dr. Blake.
The new practice will boast two fully credentialed surgery centers and four complete Medi-spas that feature aesthetic services, laser and light therapy, BOTOX Cosmetic, dermal fillers and more.
The size of the new group, set to be one of the 25 largest Allergan BOTOX injectors in the country, will allow better pricing to patients and increased access for visits close to home. “We want to set the bar for the practice of cosmetic medicine in Milwaukee and make sure patients are seeing reputable and capable surgeons in modern and fully equipped facilities,” says Dr. Korkos. Dr. Hussussian agrees, “Our merger allows both offices to provide their patients more convenience while maintaining the highest level of care and providing the best outcome possible.
