Buttock Enhancement

A personal consultation with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons is the first step for anyone interested in buttock enhancement. During this meeting, one of our surgeons will assess your physical and emotional health, discuss your specific goals for surgery, and recommend the best treatment options for you.

The buttock enhancement procedure will be performed at one of our in-house, accredited surgical suites, offering the utmost comfort and privacy. The procedure can take from 3-4 hours and then we care for you in the recovery room for 1-2 hours before you are discharged.

The procedure will start with liposuction to remove the fat from other areas of your body that may have excess fat, such as your hips, stomach and thighs. The areas for fat removal are decided prior to surgery based on where the most volume can be obtained and what areas the patient would like to see reshaped. Liposuction itself involves making incisions in the skin and then use a tube to remove fat from the body.

The fat stores that have just been removed from your body are purified and readied for injection into your buttocks.

Our surgeon then finishes by injecting the processed fat into the specific areas of the buttocks to create a more founded, full look. They make three to five incisions around the buttocks for the fat transfers.

Both liposuction and fat transfer incisions are closed with stitches. We then apply a compression garment against the affected areas of the skin to minimize your risk of bleeding and reduce scarring. Our surgeon or health professional will go over the recovery steps with you both before the surgery and after to ensure the healing process goes smoothly.

We offer both general anesthesia with Board Certified Anesthesiologists and IV Sedation for our surgical procedures.

The Brazilian butt lift is a popular type of procedure that involves the liposuction of fat from one area of the body, often times the hips and lower abdomen, that is transferred to the buttocks to create more fullness. Unlike other forms of buttock augmentation, such as placement of silicone buttock implants that are place deep within the tissue of each buttock, a brazilian butt lift is touted for providing more natural-looking results while also creating more roundness and projection in your backside.

There is also a lower risk of infection with a brazilian butt lift compared to silicone buttock implants. A brazilian butt lift also has a significantly better safety profile than other substances, such as silicone caulking and sealants, that are sometimes illegally injected into the buttocks by people not qualified to perform the procedure.
